Excellent weathering characteristics • Equal to or better than the principle competitors worldwide. • Fitted as standard with a double bubble seal around the lid perimeter which gives weathering characteristics superior to the highest window system test standards. • Independent certified laboratory testing. • Testing certification to the BS7346 Pt.1. • Proven performance world-wide over 15 years. • Full technical support via a worldwide network.
Excellent aerodynamic characteristics • Equal to or better than the principle competitors worldwide. • Tested to BS7346 Pt.1. - Independent certified laboratory testing. • Proven performance world-wide over 15 years. • Full technical support via a worldwide network.
Fire Testing / Structural Integrity • Fabricated from 1st class extruded and sheet aluminium not cheaper recycled aluminium as used by the principle competitor - Colt • Framing is made from extruded aluminium which is typically 2.0mm thick. Colts equivalent ventilator is roll formed from 1.2mm thick sheet aluminium. • The ventilator has been tested for structural integrity at temperatures exceeding 625°C in independent test laboratories. This exceeds the requirement of the relevant British Standard - BS7346 Pt.1.
Technical Support • Full worldwide technical support with central back up from Robertson Consultants in the UK. • In house structural engineering expertise with full computational / FEA modelling facilities and physical test facilities. • In house aerodynamic modelling facilities with 3-D computational modelling facilities for system and integration development.Ventilators and buildings can be simulated on the computer under different airflow conditions.
